JSQuizbuilder works by utilizing two scripts, a builder script and a data script.
The builder script reads data from a data script and processes it into a quiz which the browser renders.
The data script is yours. The builder script is the authors. All your data, questions, answers, CSS styles such as font size, color, name, width, heading, colorbar, tabswidth, tabscolor, messagebox, passmark etc. go into the data script. There are guidelines in the data script on how to present your data. When you have prepared your data script with your customizations, you match it up with the builder script by inserting it into the head section of an HTML document immediately preceeding the builder script.The browser then renders the document using the builder script or driving engine to process data in the data script into the finished product.
Setting data and styles into the data script is easy, however, you do need to know how to open a javascript (right click and edit). Knowledge of CSS will certainly help. You have full control over all features in the data file, and can make any number of copies of the scripts.
